Dili, October 13, 2026 — The Secretary of State for General Secondary and Technical-Vocational Secondary Education (ESG-ESTV), Domingos Lopes Lemos, participated in a general meeting focused on the national preparation and coordination of official visits by five foreign leaders, scheduled for November 2026, as well as the review of the Office of the President’s program of activities for November and December—the final two months of the year.
The meeting aimed to ensure thorough preparation and strengthen coordination among the relevant institutions, thereby guaranteeing the effective organization and execution of the official visits and activities planned for that period.
In addition to the Secretary of State for ESG-ESTV, the Chief of the General Staff of the FALINTIL-Defense Force of Timor-Leste (F-FDTL), Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl “Falur Rate Laek,” was also in attendance, accompanied by representatives from other pertinent institutions.
The meeting served as an opportunity to bolster inter-institutional communication and coordination, with the goal of securing the necessary preparations for the official visits and the implementation of the Office of the President’s program of activities during the final two months of 2026.
