Ermera, October 30, 2026 — The Secretary of State for General Secondary and Technical-Vocational Secondary Education (ESG-ESTV), Domingos Lopes Lemos, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Letefoho–Atsabe–Lourba road, held this Friday, October 30, in the Administrative Post of Atsabe, Ermera Municipality.
The launch of this road project marks an important milestone in the development of regional road infrastructure, raising expectations among local communities for improved accessibility and mobility for people and goods, as well as better access to essential services.
The project is expected to be carried out in accordance with established plans and technical standards, with the aim of delivering benefits to local communities and contributing to the improvement of living conditions for the region’s population.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, members of the IX Constitutional Government, members of parliament, municipal authorities from Ermera and Bobonaro, representatives of the PNTL (National Police of Timor-Leste) and F-FDTL (Defense Force of Timor-Leste), as well as members of the local community.
